Barcelona need to offer players to enroll French protector Jules Kounde, director Xavi says.
Kounde, 23, joined from Sevilla in July for a revealed £42m charge yet has not had the option to play as need might arise to follow La Liga monetary guidelines.
Barca enrolled four other new players the night prior to their association opener last end of the week subsequent to opening up financing with a few ‘monetary switches’.
“Right now, we know nothing. We are on backup,” Xavi said.
The director, whose side face Real Sociedad on Sunday, added: “We are pausing. Kounde is an extraordinary pioneer and an incredible player. Ideally he shows it soon – tomorrow, on the off chance that he can play.
“He has prepared well overall, I see him feeling great, yet we really want to offer players to have the option to enlist him.”
Chelsea are apparently intrigued by striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Dutch forward Memphis Depay has been connected with an exit from the Spanish club.
“The exchange market closes on 31 August and we don’t have the foggiest idea what will occur,” Xavi said.
“Auba and Memphis are still here, so tomorrow we will utilize them. Yet, the need is to enroll Kounde.”
New signings Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha were associated with last Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano.
