These days Bollywood films are being heavily boycotted on social media, due to which the films are suffering a lot. The recently released Laal Singh Chaddha, Rakshabandhan and Liger had an impact on their box office earnings due to the boycott trend. Let us tell you that the boycott of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Pathan has started even before its release. The entire Bollywood is terrified by this boycott trend going on on social media. Let us tell you that Karan Johar’s film is going to be released next month. Even before the release of the film, Karan Johar has given his reaction on the Boycott Train conversation with Navbharat Times.
Karan Johar said…
Producer Karan Johar said in a conversation with Navbharat that now ‘the audience has become very intelligent, they want to watch great films, not good’. Karan Johar further said- ‘There is a lot of talk about Hindi cinema at this time, but I believe that the audience’s love for Hindi cinema will always remain. It’s just that our audience has become smarter now. Decades of understanding about what is good and what is not.. so now if you give half incomplete content to the audience then they are not ready to accept it. Now not only will we do good things, but the film should be tremendous’.
From this statement of Karan Johar, it seems that he was still thinking of the audience as a fool, so he was making films as he wanted. People were also watching movies but now the audience has to watch good content. The audience is not liking to watch any film now.
Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to be seen in Karan Johar’s film Dhamaal. Alia Bhatt will be seen on the big screen with her husband Ranbir Kapoor for the first time.
