Alia Bhatt has shared her opinion on the success of her recently released film Brahmastra. Alia said during a media interaction that it is the right of the audience to criticize, review and praise the film. The Ayan Mukerji-directed film opened to positive numbers at the box office despite mixed reviews.
Alia arrived for the promotions of the film Ahmedabad with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji on Thursday. The question was raised about the negative comments the film was getting. To this Alia said, “We have only one life, in which there are two options. We either focus on the positive things or keep thinking about the negative things. Whenever the media asks negative questions, we try not to divert ourselves into it.”
Alia further added, “Criticism, reviews, opinion and feedback is the right of the audience. We try to focus more on the positive than the negative. After the release of the film, it seems that the positives are going, otherwise what has set the box office on fire would not have happened.”
Alia and Ranbir are seen together on screen for the first time in Brahmastra Part One. Apart from these, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Shahrukh Khan and Nagarjuna are also in lead roles in the film. Fans are praising the film’s VFX, while some people are criticizing the film’s bad dialogues and story line. This film is made in a budget of more than 410 crores. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film has been released in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
